The French international is said to have adopted an approach perceived as overly individualistic, prompting strong reactions from within the club. According to reports, certain privileges granted to Mbappe have contributed to the growing frustration among teammates.
Among the incidents cited are claims of disrespect toward a staff member during training sessions and arriving significantly late for a team meal. Reports also state that neither episode resulted in disciplinary consequences.
As a result, Mbappe is reportedly becoming detached from the wider squad. Coverage from Marca indicates that he is increasingly keeping his distance, maintaining closer connections only with compatriots including Ferland Mendy, Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga.
On the field, however, his performances remain strong. Despite injury setbacks throughout the campaign, the former Paris Saint-Germain forward has scored 41 goals across all competitions. Earlier reporting from L’Equipe also claimed he reached out to Florentino Perez regarding medical staff involvement.
This followed a separate controversy involving a knee scan, where Mbappe denied suggestions that the incorrect knee had been examined.
Spanish reports have also questioned the timing of his absence after picking up an injury in a draw with Real Betis. It has been suggested that the situation allowed him to create space from both teammates and coaches.
His decision to travel to Italy with Ester Exposito reportedly caused widespread displeasure among supporters and club staff. The trip came just before a major clash with Barcelona, raising concerns over preparation.
Tensions are not limited to off-field matters. Reports continue to highlight alleged issues involving Jude Bellingham, as well as a distant relationship with coach Alvaro Arbeloa. There are also suggestions of unease regarding the prominence of Vinicius Junior within the team.
