Real Madrid Emergency Crisis Meeting After Valverde–Tchouameni Dressing Room Fight

‎The dispute began during training on Wednesday when tensions rose over a foul. By Thursday, the disagreement escalated into a physical confrontation at Valdebebas, worsening an already strained relationship between the two players. Earlier tension also included a refusal by Valverde to shake Tchouameni’s hand after their initial clash.
‎Marca report that the situation turned more serious inside the dressing room, where an accidental blow left Valverde injured with a cut. He subsequently required emergency treatment at hospital, with the episode internally labelled as “very serious.”
‎The fallout has pushed Arbeloa into emergency action, with crisis talks now underway to address growing divisions inside the squad. The dressing room is described as highly toxic, with communication breaking down significantly. It is also reported that as many as six senior players have stopped engaging with the manager entirely.
‎Away from the confrontation, Kylian Mbappe has also become part of the wider scrutiny. He was seen leaving the training ground shortly after the incident, appearing relaxed and smiling, which sparked further criticism. Additional concerns have followed his appearance on a yacht in Sardinia during recovery from injury. His camp has defended him, insisting his professionalism and daily work ethic remain unchanged.
‎Attention now turns to the upcoming El Clasico, where Real Madrid face Barcelona with the Catalan side 11 points clear at the top of La Liga. A draw or defeat would confirm Barcelona as champions. Madrid had previously avoided a guard of honour after beating Espanyol, but the pressure heading into the clash remains extremely high as tensions continue to build inside the squad.
