The 24-year-old superstar won the UEFA Champions League as well as a La Liga title last season. The award comes a couple of months after he dramatically missed out on the Ballon d'Or to Manchester City midfielder Rodri.

Vinicius Jr. notably helped Real Madrid win the Champions League and La Liga double during the 2023-24 campaign, and he has become the first Los Blancos player to win the award since Luka Modric in 2018.

Jr. succeeds Lionel Messi as the FIFA Best men's player after the Argentinian scooped up the last two editions of the award.

The Brazilian forward scored 24 goals and laid on 11 assists in 39 matches across all competitions as he led Real Madrid to a La Liga and Champions League double last season.
