Lip reader reveals Jude Bellingham's 'explosive words to referee before being sent off vs Osasuna as Real Madrid midfielder makes statement

A forensic lip reader has'revealed' what Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham told referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero before getting sent off in their La Liga match against Osasuna.

Bellingham was confused in the 38th minute of Saturday's game, when Montero issued a straight red card for obvious dissent.

Real Madrid led by one goal at the time courtesy to Kylian Mbappe, but after being reduced to ten men, Los Blancos left the Estadio El Sadar with a point following a Ante Budimir penalty.

After the game, Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti offered an explanation for Bellingham's dismissal, claiming a misunderstanding between the player and referee.

“I think the referee did not understand Jude Bellingham’s English," Ancelotti said, as per Fabrizio Romano. "He said f*ck off, not f*ck you… that’s way different. I won’t talk more about the referee as I want to be on the bench next week."

Bellingham, who faced punishment earlier this month after swearing at an official, also spoke on the heated event, dismissing "insulting" the 41-year-old referee.

He said: "I never insulted the referee, I'm glad to see there are the videos to show the reality despite the referee's report. I'm here to apologise to my teammates as I put them in a difficult situation today."

According to forensic lip reader Nicola Hickling, the England international was sent off after a simple complaint to the referee.

Speaking with Jeff Bet, Hickling claimed that Bellingham said the following after approaching the official: "Throw in, it's a throw in."

Moments after, Jose Luis Munuera Montero issued a red card, saying, "You're out." Get off" - the Real Madrid midfielder's only response was "What?" with a stunned face.

The latest incident occurred after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez requested that the Spanish FA bring in referees from the Premier League to enhance the quality of refereeing in La Liga.
