‎The investigation was prompted by reports of alleged "indecent conduct" by the players, with key incidents under scrutiny. One of the most notable involves Antonio Rudiger, who was captured on camera making a throat-slitting gesture, apparently directed at Atletico Madrid fans. Meanwhile, social media footage appears to show Mbappe making a crotch-grabbing gesture during post-match celebrations.

‎As part of the disciplinary process, UEFA has appointed an Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector to investigate the conduct of these players. If the investigation concludes with a guilty verdict, the involved players could face severe consequences, including suspensions, fines, or both.
