‎Harry Kane tipped for Tottenham statue in potential homecoming transfer from Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur icon Harry Kane has been tipped to receive the ultimate tribute — a statue outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium — should he decide to return from Bayern Munich in the future. The England captain, Spurs’ all-time leading goalscorer, left the North London club in the summer of 2023 in pursuit of major silverware, and has since cemented his place among Europe’s elite.

‎Now, with a Bundesliga title under his belt following Bayern Munich's 2024-25 league triumph, speculation is again swirling around Kane’s potential return to the Premier League — and to the club where he became a legend.
‎Former Spurs winger Aaron Lennon has publicly called for Kane’s homecoming, stating it would be “the icing on the cake” to an already glittering career. Speaking to Radio Times, Lennon remarked, “He is a Spurs boy through and through. He loves the football club, he's idolised by the fans. There will probably be a statue of Harry one day, especially if he comes back.”
‎While Kane has made no formal indication of a Premier League return, his record-chasing trajectory continues to stir debate. Still within striking distance of Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goal record, a return to England could offer the chance to secure yet another personal milestone.
‎Kane’s performances in Germany have been nothing short of prolific. With back-to-back Bundesliga Golden Boots and a potential 100-goal mark in sight for Bayern Munich, he has silenced critics who questioned his move abroad. His international form also remains stellar, leading England with 71 goals as he nears the century mark for his country.
‎Lennon, who played alongside a young Kane during his Spurs breakthrough years, hailed the striker’s growth and perseverance: “What he's gone on to do, it's not surprising. He's always been a consummate professional. He deserves every bit of success, and I’m buzzing for him.”
‎Tottenham themselves ended a long trophy drought this season with a UEFA Europa League victory, adding further intrigue to the notion of Kane’s return. A reunion with a rejuvenated Spurs side could complete a full-circle moment in one of modern football’s most storied careers.
