‎Liverpool Star Mohamed Salah Linked With Summer Transfer to MLS or Saudi Arabia

‎Mohamed Salah is reportedly exploring opportunities to leave Liverpool this summer, with options in Major League Soccer or the Saudi Pro League under consideration. The Liverpool forward has been linked with a Middle East move for some time, but Fabrizio Romano reports that MLS teams are now also keeping tabs on the Egyptian superstar.

‎Currently contracted to Liverpool until 2027, Salah signed a lucrative extension at Anfield. Despite this, his future has come under scrutiny following a highly publicized clash with management. The 33-year-old reacted angrily after being sidelined by Arne Slot, accusing the club of undermining him during a difficult period for Liverpool’s title defense.
‎Although back in the starting lineup after the Africa Cup of Nations, Salah has struggled for Premier League goals this season, managing just seven in total and none since November 1. This is a stark contrast to his consistent scoring record over eight and a half years in England.
‎Interest in Salah is growing on multiple fronts. Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly ready to rekindle talks in the summer window, with teams like Al-Ittihad potentially entering the conversation. Romano explained that these clubs, having lost stars like Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante, are keen to recruit high-profile talent to strengthen their squads.
‎North American teams may also express interest. MLS has already attracted big names such as Lionel Messi and Heung-min Son, and Salah could follow a similar path. Romano emphasized that while no official proposals have yet emerged, the summer could see serious negotiations take place.
‎Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore believes Salah is likely to depart Anfield. Speaking to GOAL, he noted that although Salah will remain for the rest of the season, the Egyptian forward may move on if younger stars like Isak and Wirtz continue to impress. Collymore also suggested that Salah could feel sidelined by the attention these newcomers receive.
‎With Cristiano Ronaldo also facing exit speculation from Al-Nassr, Salah might become a key target for Saudi teams. Fans worldwide will be watching closely to see whether the Egyptian winger continues at Liverpool or pursues a high-profile transfer abroad.
