Despite the setback, Flick moved to ease concerns about the player’s long-term fitness. The Barcelona coach stressed that a cautious recovery plan is being followed to safeguard Yamal’s future, especially given his age and growing role at both club and international level.

The German manager acknowledged the difficulty of the situation but expressed confidence in the winger’s ability to recover. According to Flick, the injury marks Yamal’s first muscle issue, and it will serve as a learning experience as he continues his development.
